Day-by-day outline
Day 1 — Palma and a short first leg
Complete the handover, provisioning and safety briefing before leaving Palma. Keep the first sail deliberately short and use it to check the yacht, crew and systems. Depending on the conditions, choose a protected anchorage or marina in Palma Bay.
Day 2 — South coast of Mallorca
Continue east along the southern coast. Cala Pi and the waters around Es Trenc are natural planning points, but shelter varies with wind direction. Arrive with enough daylight to assess the anchorage rather than committing to a timetable.
Day 3 — Cross to Cabrera
Make the passage to Cabrera only in suitable conditions and with the required authorisation confirmed. The appeal is the protected landscape and absence of resort development. Follow park rules closely and treat the visit as the centrepiece of the week.
Day 4 — Cabrera and an unhurried departure
Allow time ashore where permitted and avoid turning Cabrera into a hurried overnight stop. Depart for Mallorca when the forecast gives a comfortable return window, choosing a south-east anchorage or marina for the night.
Day 5 — South-east Mallorca
Use the day for swimming, a shorter coastal passage and a weather-dependent choice between marina and anchorage. Cala Figuera and the surrounding coast provide useful route options without forcing a long day.
Day 6 — Return toward Palma Bay
Begin the westward return with a substantial safety margin. This prevents the final day becoming a race against weather or check-in deadlines. Spend the night within an easy final leg of Palma.
Day 7 — Palma return
Refuel where required, complete the inventory checks and return at the operator’s stated time. Keep the last morning simple.
