Fleet ages span a wider range than some Balearic operators: most of the 14 boats date from 2018 to 2023, with the Beneteau Oceanis 48 «Roxanna» (2015) and Sun Odyssey 519 «Leia» (2017) the two oldest. Berth counts run from 8 on the Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 «Simba» up to 12 on most of the catamarans and the larger Oceanis monohulls, so both compact and larger-group charters are covered.

Marina Port Ibiza, under Dalt Vila

Sailme Charter's Ibiza base sits at Marina Port Ibiza, pontoon B (formerly known as Marina Ibiza Magna), in the heart of Ibiza Town directly beneath the historic Dalt Vila fortress — a UNESCO World Heritage old town. This is the base for all 14 boats in the current Balearic listings.

Being in Ibiza Town itself puts the marina within walking distance of the old town's restaurants, shops and nightlife, useful for a night before or after your charter. Sailme Charter is also opening a second Balearic base in Palma, Mallorca, described on their site as being on Palma's south coast close to the airport — check with the operator directly if you specifically want a Mallorca-based boat, since the fleet currently searchable here is the Ibiza base. From Ibiza Airport to Marina Port Ibiza

One of the shortest transfers of any Ibiza charter base — Ibiza Town is close to the airport.

Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is about 4.6 miles from Ibiza Town. A taxi covers it in around 8 minutes for roughly €19–23. An ALSA bus also runs the route hourly, taking about 20 minutes for a fare of €1–2 — a solid budget option if you're travelling light. Source: Rome2Rio.

Given how short the transfer is, a taxi straight from arrivals is the simplest option for most guests carrying charter luggage and provisions. Once at the marina, Ibiza Town's shops and supermarkets are within walking distance for last-minute provisioning.

The marina's position beneath Dalt Vila also means Ibiza Town's old-town restaurants and bars are a short walk away — a practical option for a pre- or post-charter evening without needing a taxi.

Sailme Charter's own site markets both bareboat and skippered charter, and holds ISO 20410:2017 bareboat-charter certification. As a general planning range for boats of this size and age in Ibiza during peak season, expect roughly €2,500–€4,000 a week for the 37–42ft catamarans, €3,000–€4,500 for the 46–48ft Oceanis range, and €3,000–€5,000+ for the 52ft Leia depending on dates, with lower rates in shoulder season. Where boats from Ibiza Town can reach in a day

Realistic distances, not marketing distances.

Even a short outing from Marina Port Ibiza gives a view back at Dalt Vila's fortress walls and the old town skyline from the water — a classic Ibiza photo that costs no real detour on the way to the south-coast beaches.

From Marina Port Ibiza, the closest easy destinations sit along the south coast: Talamanca and Ses Salines are both well within an hour, with Ses Salines especially popular for its long, clear-water beach and proximity to the airport approach.

For a fuller day, Cala Jondal and Es Cavallet extend the range a little further along the south coast, both known for their beach-club scene in high season. Sailme Charter itself references routes "around Ibiza and Formentera" for its catamarans, consistent with the south-coast bases making Formentera realistic in a single day from Ibiza Town.

Formentera's Ses Illetes and Ses Salines beaches are the reward for the longer crossing — a genuinely achievable full day from Ibiza Town given the short run down the south coast first, but still worth checking the marine forecast the evening before, especially for the smaller 37ft catamarans in this fleet.
